JOB SUMMARY The Bookkeeper ensures efficient management of finances and processing of all financial documents. The Bookkeeper’s decision-making and communication style must contribute to and be consistent with the organization’s mission and exemplify its core values.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

The Bookkeeper is responsible for the effective management and processing of the Foundation’s financials and exhibits interest and passion in serving underprivileged children and families in accordance with the foundation’s vision, mission, core values and strategic plans.

Vacancy: DEVELOPMENT TEAM LEADER

The Purple Centers Foundation is a hiring Development Team Leader specializing in fundraising, donor management, and project management. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years related experience in the field and preferably NGOs or non-profits. The preferred candidate will have experience in securing sustainable funding, maintaining donor relations, and be an excellent communicator in both English and Filipino. The Development Team Leader will be directly responsible for the fundraising efforts, and special project management and will be supported by an active CEO and counterpart program directors. JOB SUMMARY The Development Team Leader ensures smooth, efficient, and positive fundraising and development strategies. The Development Team Leader is responsible for all fund sourcing activities and special projects implementation. The Development Team Leader’s decision-making and communication style must contribute to and be consistent with the organization’s mission and exemplify its core values. The Development Team Leader is responsible for ensuring sufficient funding and effective implementation of the foundation’s programs and services.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

The Development Team Leader is expected to raise the Foundation’s profile, image, and donor base by effectively implementing the fundraising and development strategy and publicly representing the foundation as needed. The Development Team Leader is responsible for securing sustainable funding streams for the Foundation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

SUPERVISION

Establishes own standard of performance within overall policy or budgetary limits and with direct accountability for final results. Virtually self supervising.

Disaster relief operations may require exceptionally longer hours for a brief time until the situation in the communities has stabilized.

Mental Demands

Manage a number of requests and situations at one time. Stress may be caused by the need to complete tasks within tight deadlines and competing interests/demands for attention.

 WORK SCHEDULE

The Development Team Leader will work at the Tondo center a minimum of 40 hours per week. Ordinarily this will be from Monday to Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm but due to the nature of the position there will be occasions when work may be conducted on a flexi-time basis or beyond ordinary minimum hours, especially Saturdays. The Director should expect that the President/CEO and key staff may need to communicate in the evenings and weekends on occasion, but respect for private/family time will be observed the majority of the time.
